The public court record may list attorneys when entered. New Madrid County is served by Missouri State Public Defender District 34 in Portageville for eligible criminal defendants. Expungement under RSMo 610.140 can seal qualifying criminal records from public access, while RSMo 488.650 provides a $250 surcharge that may be waived for indigency.

Federal Criminal Case Limits
